When Nicola Milano started producing vinegar in 1889, he had a clear vision of the quality of the final product he wanted to obtain.  His son Andrea, who gave the name to the company, continued his father’s work from the teachings he received.

His vinegar was the result of the harmonious mixture of the wine qualities, the devotion of the craftsman together with new technologies.

Since then, all production techniques has been refined never disregarding the great Italian wine tradition. First beech barrels have been replaced today with modern acetifying machines, but nothing of the heritage of tradition and experience, matured over the last 100 years, has been sacrificed.

In the 90’s the fourth generation, led by Andrea and Francesco, gave a strong push to the growth of the business, aiming to the internationalization of the company and acquiring in Modena a historical vinegar factory that today is the pride of the Company. The new plant allowed the expansion of the range with the production of balsamic vinegar of Modena. Nowadays, with the entrance in the company of Fabio and Marcello, the fifth generation, the Acetificio Andrea Milano is positioned as one of the leading vinegar producers.

The centuries-old experience and the great passion handed down from generation to generation set up the production of the “Antica Acetaia Villa Vittoria”, the “Antica Acetaia del Duomo” and the line of condiments “Villa Vittoria”.  Andrea Milano vinegars are produced with grapes that receive their strength from the hot Mediterranean sun; the same strength is given by the vinegar to sauces, marinades and all kind of food, making every single dish an incredible experience.
